About us

Pak Biomedical Research Society is a society which has a membership of more than 300 highly qualified researchers in biomedical sciences including all biological and medical sciences, e.g. Psychology, Zoology, Vetrinary sciences including all its subjects and many natural sciences

This society was founded in 1982 and within the first 2 years it was decided to publish a periodical which came into existence in 1985 wih the name "Biomedica". It is a bi-annual journal which supports both basic and clinical research in medical sciences, veterinary sciences and basic researches in Biological Sciences

The editorial board consists of active members covering a range of many specialities such as medicine, surgical specialities, neurosurgery, oncology, haematology, immunology, pharmacology, GI medicine, gynaecology, genetics, anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, paediatrics and dentistry. In addition experimental work is also encouraged.

Since its inception it is being published regulary and has been indexed in IMEMR, PakMediNet, Medilink, Pastic and approved by PMDC

The management has now added a very meaningful logo on Biomedica. News and announcements are only selected. A few national and international abstracts are also being considered for the Vol:25(2) 2009 issue
